Massive Database Update!

Library Services has added 35 new databases to its list of online resources. The procurement of these databases was made possible via the library's partnership with the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library (LHCADL) initiative.

These new resources cover a multitude of subject matter in the fine arts, humanities, sciences, and trades. Some of the more notable databases includes: Art Full Text, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition, and SPORTDiscus with Full Text. You can can view a complete list of the resources by clicking here.

The homepage for the databases was also overhauled. The various databases have been divvied up into more descriptive subject categories, thereby allowing users to select the most appropriate database(s) for their search needs. You can view the new database organizational structure by clicking here.

Medicine Hat College Library Services and the LHCADL will continue to improve upon their already impressive list of resources in 2007 and beyond.
